I am a lover of beautiful dishware but after a few sets being beautiful and broken by my husband and kids I decided to try these. They are heavy and most people can't even tell they are melamine - we were entertaining the other day and a mom asked if I had any paper plates for her kids because she didn't want them to break my beautiful plates. 5 stars! I got two sets of these dishes and I am very glad I did. They are perfect for outdoor dinner parties. They are unbreakable, sleek, and sturdy.
