Fine artist and muralist Julia Purinton divides her time between the gentle landscape of north shore Boston and a small rural village in Vermont. Both places provide plenty of material for her evocative landscape paintings. She describes her Massachusetts studio as " a "dog kennel, potting shed, mud room, and sanctuary." Working in oils, acrylics, Venetian plaster, and glaze, Julia's artwork has the luminous glow of images by artists who influence her: Maxfield Parish, Winslow Homer, and the Brandywine River School painters. Many layers of glaze create the atmospheric moods of her landscapes. Her work is found in galleries on the east coast.

This is just what I expected and it works great in my room, so glad it already had the hanging wire attached!. Meg. Greenwood, IN. Wed Aug 08 2018

Urbane and sophisticated, Beraud painted the daily life of Parisian society. This delightful piece depicts a beautiful young woman in a lavish setting surrounded by a handful of gentlemen admirers. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The replica 4.375" wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

I love it. Kacou Leon. New York, NY. Sun Mar 23 2025
