I purchased the 3 inch thick foam to correct cushion sag on my couch. It is so much more comfortable!! What I didn't plan for was the very apparent, and glaring, 3" white (foam)gap between the bottom of the cushion and the actual couch. Unfortunately, I have already purchased a "soft corduroy sofa slipcover" that doesn't accommodate for this gap. All these issues are my error for not thinking it all through.
