I like that it raises and lowers and also adjusts to a tilt to be used without hands for book, phone or tablet. My only concern is the little wooden bar comes off easily and my loved one hides it.. The tilting feature is very nice to have. It makes reading in bed quite easy. The arm under the table is a bit springy and tends to flex down with the weight of a tray of food or a laptop computer. The table was a challenge to put together. The threads on the ends of the screws were bent and it was difficult to get them started. The C-shaped base slides neatly under most sofas, couches, and low-profile beds, with four lockable swivel wheels that hold it firmly in place once you settle in.
