I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. these are great pans, uniform and cooks well. I dropped one star because the finish on one is uneven (looks like paint that ran) on the bottom, not enough to bother with a return or affect function but they company needs to work on their quality control program..
