I’m pleasantly surprised by how convincing the faux leather looks — it gives the appearance of real leather without the high-maintenance feel. The chair itself feels sturdy, well-made, and overall great quality. One of my favorite features is the lift function it’s especially helpful on the knees and makes getting up much easier and more comfortable. The vibrationmassage feature is okay — pretty much what you’d expect from a chair in this category. It’s not luxurious, but it does add a little extra comfort and definitely isn’t enough to take away a star. I did a lot of research when I was looking to replace our 18 year old electric recliner. I am beyond happy with this recliner I decided to purchase! I got it in 2 days in 3 manageable boxes via Fed Ex! My husband was able to easily assemble it in less than 30 minutes! The color (beige) and the material (faux leather that is soft and better than leather) is beautiful! It truly brightens up our family room next to a dark brown couch! I was so excited to try it! First off, it is extremely comfortable! They even gave you a wonderful lumbar pillow but I didn't need it! It's a nice accent when you're not in the chair! :) The massage features are outstanding! You have 4 positions and 3 modes with 3 speeds! It is not very loud- which is what I was concerned about with our 16 year old miniature poodle! She didn't even hear it! You can set a timer for it which is fabulous! Second, the heating feature in the lumbar area is excellent! Third, the cup holders are great as I can now have my drink on my chair instead of on the floor! Fourth, the USB outlets on the side of the chair are a fantastic addition to this extraordinary chair! Lastly, there are 2 pockets in the front of the chair and 2 on the sides of the chair! Perfect for your phone, glasses, a book... They truly thought of everything when they made this chair!!! It was flat on the ground in the weather, box torn, I was able to set it up right but it was too heavy to get onto the porch it was left next to. Got this for my handicapped mother who has also fractured her L2 and broken her right shoulder. It was very easy to assemble, directions were very clear. She needs the support of the lumbar pillow but also craves the heat which is only in the lumbar area, so she’s feeling a bit dissatisfied with the chair. She calls it empty promises. This one checked all those boxes, but was a lift chair. I didn’t really need that feature, but thought it might come in handy eventually, haha. We got the white recliner and I was a little nervous that it was going to be a bright white, but was relieved to see it was almost a cream/yellow color. It's very heavy, but easy to put together.
