Designed to live outdoors in exposed conditions, the Ridge Planter is molded from fiberglass-reinforced concrete mixed with stone, mother-of-pearl and shell. Ground shell and stone break the surface as a fine speckle, so the body has some life in it when the sun hits. The body is frost resistant and drains from an open hole in the base, the two things that decide whether a planter can be left outdoors year-round. Set a pair at either side of a door, or use one to anchor the corner of a patio.

The Alpine Stone color is perfect against our slate porch & the stone of our house & exactly as it was pictured. We put two topiaries in them flanking our front door & everyone loves them. They are very elegant ! Also the customer service at Wayfair is fantastic-so very helpful .. Sandra. Malvern, PA. Wed Jul 26 2017

This is an easy to assemble fountain, producing a soft trickling sound that cannot be heard at a distance, and a minimal amount of splash. This fountain has heavy components and may require lifting assistance.

This is a very nice fountain, the only issue I had with this order is that you are unable to see the item in the different colors offered so we guessed a color - it's nice but I would have liked it a bit darker. Arrival was just as expected and the packaging of this fountain was very good.. Isabel. Las Vegas, NV. Tue Jun 25 2024

While this fountain is easy to assemble, multiple people are required for the assembly due to the weight of the fountain components. This fountain produces a steady stream sound that can be heard at distance, but drowned out by moderate traffic noise and a moderate splash. This fountain has heavy components and may require lifting assistance.

High quality materials, easy to assemble, and looks fantastic. There is a long time frame for production and shipping. I had to call Wayfair a few times to get updates on the shipping and was told they would email or call me to schedule the delivery. They sent me a message with a defined delivery date and time and I did not get to coordinate the delivery as I was told. Luckily, I was able to accommodate and be at home when it was delivered. This fountain provides a lot of water flowing sound for a fountain of this size-which is great! I wanted to be able to hear the water throughout my backyard. The basepool of this fountain is oval (not round) which is hard to tell from the pictures and description. I would recommend it, just be prepared for a long delivery window.. Joshua. Dallas, TX. Tue Nov 30 2021
