I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. We purchased the dryer and washer together and both have been great so far. I am only planning on speaking to the dryer though. First the positives, - The dryer uses heat pump tech, meaning no ventilation needed, which was a huge bonus for us. - It is noticeably gentler on clothes. - Dries clothes and comforters completely in a single cycle, without needing to rotate them. - It is very quiet, very different from what I've had in the past. - Lint trap is very easy to clean - With the app, it has a decent amount of features and customizations. - Looks very modern. Now the negatives, - Scatches easily. It already got a small scratch that happened during the install process. For the price, I'd expect better durability. - It take on average twice as long to dry clothes due to this being a ventless dryer.
