These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. Love, love, love. I washed and dried these sheets and they require no ironing out of the dryer. Sometimes when my sheets come out of the dryer, I need to press them and the next time they come out of the dryer they will be creased in the same spot. Not these sheets! ABSOLUTELY NO IRONING!!!
