The box became damaged during transit. After opening and removing the first layer of the plastic wrap I begin hearing an oozing sound, contrary to me not even opening the standard vacuum wrapped plastic. This is a great mattress for the price! It arrived wrapped really tightly and unfurled quite quickly. So I suggest placing it on the bed framebox spring before unwrapping. The package came with a tool for cutting the plastic safely so opening it was easy. We gave it the full 72 hours before using it and as you can see by the pictures, it came out great. I’m extremely happy with this mattress! I chose the 14-inch model, and it exceeded my expectations. It provides an excellent balance of comfort and support—the Euro top and memory foam feel plush, while the pocketed coils keep my spine well aligned. So far, I’m in love! Just unboxed and letting take more shape for the day before we sleep on it tonight but, wow! Our last mattress was a Puffy, all foam, and plush. It was wayyyy too soft for us and was killing our backs. So I took a chance on this after reading the reviews and getting in for the sale. Best decision ever! I’m not exaggerating. Great mattress for the price. The mattress fits the bed (also a Wayfair purchase) nicely. The mattress was easy to unpack, there is an outer package and the actually mattress is vacuumed sealed with instructions of how to unroll it safely.
