This was a fun DIY project for me. It does come with what feels like a gazillion parts, and the instructions can be a little confusing at one point, so take your time. It took me about 3 hours to assemble everything by myself. Once it was finished, though, the end result was fantastic. I’d rate the sturdiness 910—it’s solid for everyday use—but the appearance is easily on par with dining tables that cost much more. It looks premium and has a great presence in the room. Much nicer than expected. First, extraordinarily well packed with lots of coverings and layers of styrofoam. Second, very easy to put together. We love this buffet. We had bought a black one and a white one. The directions are 95 excellent, there were a few challenges, but overall, it wasn’t difficult to put together. The 5 that we caution people on is step 16 and 17 regarding the second phase of putting the drawer slides in. These steps were difficult to understand. You have to bring the pieces to the work area to figure it out. We both were working on a piece at the same time and came across the exact same issue. We enjoy putting items together like this and saving money, but this one took so long, about six hours, (there are 37 steps for assembly) that we agreed it would’ve been better to have Wayfair do it. for the hundred bucks a piece.. These are nice quality chairs and I’m a stickler for quality. My husband is a weighty 185 lbs of muscle and he’s very comfortable sitting in these.
