This is one of the most beautiful vases I have ever seen. First, the shape alone is unique. It is thin at the bottom, the fills out like a big balloon.just awesome. Then, the beautiful blue, it is lighter than a darker blue mixed with some white specks, but not overly light blue. Finally, it has texture, feeling something like sand but not quite. It is granular and must be made in the ceramic process, but it gives the vase an added flair. Just wonderful. I have this sitting on my table in the living room, but it would look nice in any room. This vase was very well packaged and arrived quickly. It feels well made and has a nice weight to it, so it definitely doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. I really love the matte texture and the color—it has a beautiful vintage-inspired look and works well with a variety of décor styles. My only complaint is the size.
