This is a quality made item. However the aprox 2 inch padding under the leather pad adds to the height of the seated level. Suggest you recognize 2 inches of added height of the chair when seated at the table. When seated it makes you feel as your higher from the table then the norm. Also add the fact I ordered 4 chairs then 2 in separate orders. The order of 2 chairs has shorter backs than the order of 4 chairs. Why is that? Looks like they all came from the same place.. Carol.
