I purchased two and absolutely love them. They look just like the picture and are designed to last. I'm very experienced with attacking this type of project. Assembly is an 8 out of 10 in difficulty because of how long it takes to put it together, and I have large hands, so I was not able to fit my fingers into the smaller spaces to install the support brackets near the end. Its pretty sturdy and holds a lot of books and magazines. We bought the 3 tier bookcase in the wood tone. I would recommend this for anyone looking for an attractive and affordable bookcase. I couldn’t be happier with these bookcases. They look beautiful, feel sturdy once assembled, and offer a surprising amount of storage. The combination of open shelving, drawers, and cabinet space makes them both functional and attractive. Assembly is definitely a two-person job and is a bit involved. Our first bookcase took about four hours to assemble, but by the time we built the second one, we’d learned the process and finished it in under three hours. One tip for future buyers the instructions have you attach the hinges to the cabinet doors first and then install them after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to attach the hinge hardware to the cabinet frame before installing the top panel, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it’s much easier than trying to work in a cramped space with tiny screws. Overall, these bookcases exceeded my expectations. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic.
