Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow. This wardrobe is very nice looking, with tons of storage space. Perfect for my 1940’s house with tiny closets! I assembled the whole thing by myself and it took about 8 hours total. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. It came in six boxes and building it was a bit of a daunting task, but it was definitely worth it! It looks great and has made the room feel so much more organized. I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the boxes, so in case anyone else has a bit of building anxiety - they are two separate cabinet units that you can then latch together so the process can be done in parts if you do not have a full day to dedicate to putting it together. There were two sets of three boxes: one that was 1 of 2; one that was 2 of 2; and one that was unlabeled. You can build a functional cabinet set with a 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. The unlabeled box was the smaller top cabinets for that particular set! Also, my electric screwdriver proved to be worth every penny in putting this together. The amount of screws makes me very confident in its sturdiness so it is not a complaint, but a regular screwdriver would have probably added a few hours to the task.. Anonymous. Thu Aug 13 2026
