Very pleased with this door and installation kit! I had purchased prior barn doors from the big box stores but could not find a decent 2 paneled version at a good cost other than this one on Wayfair. Delivery timing was reasonable, and the delivery was on time and efficiently made by the delivery crew. Quality of the door and installation kit is very good. Nice touches to make installation easy (predrilled hanger holes + pre mortised guide slot at the base of the door). Simple and clear instructions made it easy to install...............Very happy with the finished result.. Andrew. Walton Hills, OH. Mon Jul 06 2026

Wow! This door was easy to assemble and stain. The instructions highly recommends a header board and I do too! Everything I needed to hang this door was in the kit, except for the header board and lag screws to hang it of course, but I with the help of my AI helper was able to hang this door by myself! Feeling very accomplished and it looks and glides so smoothly…a wonderful addition to our family room!. Renee. Grand Blanc, MI. Thu Oct 15 2026

Beautiful door. Ordered 42x80. Typical Chinese instructions but still easy to assemble. Not a single flaw or missing piece. Looks awesome. SMARTSTANDARD is committed to providing high-quality, customized, and durable Barn Doors to satisfy your home decoration and security needs.

This product is very solid and high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that the satin nickel rail is 3 pieces for an 8 foot rail. Makes installation more difficult than a one or two piece rail. The other door I purchased used a black rail that was 2 pieces. Other than that the door is solid and easy to assemble but very heavy. I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy but it is a 48 x 84 solid door so it makes sense. Love having full access to our closet now!. Neal. Billerica, MA. Tue Sep 08 2026

The door looks great and we are very pleased! The decorative diagonal pieces were missing, but Wayfair's customer service was fantastic as always. They got those shipped to us very quickly. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to include a stain stick the color of the door, as the dowel plugs on the side were raw wood color, so we had to find a stain stick ourselves to try to match and blend in those dowels..
