I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa. Compared to some of the other couches I’ve seen from Wayfair, these are much more filled and soft and plush. It’s a light couch, and easy to move, but feels sturdy.
