Keep your garbage out of sight anywhere in your home with the 13.2-gallon and 3.2-gallon dual stainless steel motion sensor trash cans from nine stars. These stainless steel trash cans feature motion sensor lids that use infrared technology to automatically open when motion is detected within 10 inches or at a 130-degree angle from the sensor. The lids will then stay open while they sense debris in range, and softly close 3 seconds after you move away. Additionally, manual mode keeps the trash can lids open longer, giving you more time to clean up larger messes with ease. Replaceable ring liners in each trash can hold your trash bag in the bin to keep the bag from falling as you throw away the trash. The receptacle's sleek, stainless steel design doesn't show fingerprints and has a non-skid base to keep your kitchen, bathroom, or office looking its best. The trash cans require 3 C-sized batteries (large) and 2 C-sized batteries (small) for operation. With a sleek design and expert functionality, your home will always feel clean with the 13.2-gallon and 3.2-gallon dual stainless steel motion sensor trash cans from nine stars.

Our classic trash can combines quality construction with modern styling for your kitchen or office. A satin finish suits any decor, and the tall, narrow shape fits easily into a small space. Dispose of trash hands-free with the convenient step pedal.

I wonder why I lived so long with an unfunctional, sloppy plastic kitchen trash can whose step-open function had broken within months of purchase. THIS TRASH CAN IS GREAT. It is heavy enough not to move around, neat and efficient. It has a plastic insert which can be removed for cleaning. The step function with soft-close is a great feature. I ordered and received it in light green powder coat, not black as in this review title, and the finish is a beautiful soft green which is easy to clean. I recommend spending the money as it really makes a difference.. Carolyn. Gainesville, FL. Thu Sep 17 2026

Nice size. I don’t like how the logo is etched on the front of it. And I don’t like how when the top opens it can seem a little flimsy (it wiggles around and isn’t as smooth and steady). In the end though, it serves its purpose of holding my garbage so it’s fine.. Melissa. Manalapan, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

Upgrade your waste management with this multi-size trash can. Featuring a soft-close lid and smudge-resistant surface, it offers both convenience and style. The inner bucket design ensures easy disposal and helps maintain a clean and organized space.

Compact, fits our space perfectly. It is a standard step-pedal trashcan though the lid opening mechanism is a little flimsy and the lid rocks back and forth a bit after it’s open before stabilizing, especially if you step hard on the pedal (if you step lightly and don’t open it all the way it’s smooth). Crafted from rust-resistant stainless steel, this trash can is both easy to clean and stylish, complementing any decor. Love my new trash can. The one I had was also from Wayfair, but it was wider and the step to open was in the front. I was tired of retouching the cabinet due to the lid always scuffing it. This one is slim design and taller. Holds the same amount of trash 13 gallons. Only this one opens towards a wall and all I have to do is pull it way from it so it doesn't hit it. I didn't have that option with the other one that is now on by back patio. This is perfect for a small kitchen and not having to give up and trash space. Came quickly too.
