I don’t have the table that it will go into yet or a base (it doesn’t come with a base) It provides a huge amount of shade and easily covers multiple chairs, so it would work really well over a larger patio seating or dining area. The canopy is a pretty warm creambeige rather than a stark white, and the wood-look pole and ribs make it look much more expensive than a typical metal patio umbrella. It blends beautifully with neutral outdoor furniture. The pulleyrope opening system is straightforward to use, and once fully opened the canopy feels nice and substantial. I also like that the fabric has ties so it can be secured neatly when the umbrella is closed. The canopy fabric has a slightly textured look that keeps it from looking cheap or overly shiny. One thing shoppers should know is that this is a very large umbrella. It has a lot of presence, so make sure you have enough clearance around your patio and a sturdy, appropriately sized base. Fast Delivery on this top quality umbrella. I like these crank-tilt umbrellas. The last one we had, that was replaced by this one, worked for over 15 years. The only reason we replaced it is that the cord which is used eventually fails and they are impossible to replace without completely disassembling the center pole with no way to put it back together unless you have the press pins and a tool to replace them. So, in 15 years I will have to replace this one again I suppose. The Sunbrella fabric was in great condition on the old one, only because we covered the umbrella with a high-quality umbrella cover.... the cover is the key to the longevity. The methodology is that you put two big sandbags on the bottom so it is sturdy and then they have a fabric that you cover the base with so you don’t see the bags which make this really flawless and beautiful.
