Very beautiful. The solid Walnut base is of high quality and the glass top thick with well polished edges. Concern is the top wobbled on the rubber pads and the entire base is unstable on carpet. Beautiful Chair! I love the feel and size - it is more substantial than most chairs of this design, so check the dimensions. I will say the coloring in the photo is different than in real life. The leather is more brown than gray and the wood is not a natural white oak color- it has a light brown stain and then kind of a whitewash that lays in the grain on the arms/legs. They look good in my space, but I could definitely see a scenario where the color is different enough to be a deal breaker on the chairs. The glamour is in the details of the Mélange Sapphire Chest: the rich sapphire-blue finish over figured Primavera Veneers, the broach-like dramatic silver floral hardware, silver metal accents and acrylic legs. It all adds up to an uptown accent to create a burst of style for any space. The two doors have soft-close hinges and magnetic door catches with one adjustable shelf inside and one soft-closing drawer inside. The drawers have a painted blue interior.

Item looks beautiful. However, it did come with a corner damaged not due to the manufacturer. Wayfair did their best to make it right. The defective corner did reveal that this item, despite appearing like it is solid wood, is made from MDF with a veneer finish. The doors also came misaligned which i hope to be able to fix myself..
