Maria Spice Rug

This hypnotic debut of our Spice Market Collection was inspired by a new world wonder, the ancient city of Petra. Also known as the Rose City for the color of the clay its mysterious rock-cut architecture is chiseled from, the design of our Petra area rug pays homage to its namesake with intricate artistry and jewel tones. Finished in our exclusive EverStrand™ fiber, the Petra is consciously created from up to 100% post-consumer content from plastic bottles. Available in two colorations, a darker charcoal design and a dazzling multicolor motif.

This is a really beautiful, thick rug and looks far better than pictured because the colors are just a little bit brighter. The border is actually a dark brown, so the rug goes well with my brown velvet couch. I also like the mildly distressed look. I have never been disappointed by a Karastan rug and like every other one I've ever had, this one looks like a very high-end choice. I was reluctant to buy a synthetic rug but took a chance because of past experiences with Karastan and I'm glad I did - I doubt you could beat or even match the quality in this price range.. Joie. Perfect rug for a transitional space in our home! The jute material is actually pretty soft, not scratchy, so it even feels nice barefoot. It’s also heavy enough where it stays in place without a rug pad attached underneath.. Nicolette. Minneapolis, MN. Tue Aug 04 2026

Gorgeous rug. These are thin rugs not plush which seems to be the new way of doing rugs these days but it is washable so of course it would be thin. I have heated tile floors in my bus so I cannot have a thick backing. It does not move on my tile floors. I did decide on the next size up but other than that I love the look of the rug.. Gina. Hooked of 100% wool by skilled artisans in India, the Diahann Collection features a natural thick pile. Through bold color combinations and asymmetrical designs, Diahann takes the familiar wool hook construction and gives it a fresh spin.

This rug is a starting point for a room we are repurposing into a small den for reading & TV so won't get a lot of traffic. Having said that, it appears to be well-bound and did not have an odor (something I have read on other rug posts). There are lots of colors so lots of decorating possibilities! There is a photo with paint chips and for reference, the dark middle color in the rug matches Glidden Mountain Pine, so more green (I thought it was Navy). We are tending toward the bluey green but one could easily paint walls in off whites, beiges even peachy pink. There is far more variation in color within the design that makes it really pretty. Very pleased with this purchase!. Jj. Chicago Suburbs. Sat May 02 2026

Elevate your space with the bold expression and inviting design of the Sebastian Collection. Power-loomed of polyester and polypropylene in Egypt, the Sebastian Collection is a fresh and innovative take on traditional rug design.

This rug worked out just right in our dining room and coordinates well with the fabric on our chairs, wall color and window treatments. The color varies throughout the rug, so each side/end is not identical. It gives it a more vintage feel. The colors are golden/rust/cream/super dark blue/hints of green. It is NOT a soft rug, there is no pile at all. It feels more like sisal or jute....firm fibers. Again this works perfect for us in a dining room so the chairs can more easily move. Our previous rug had more pile and it was super difficult to move the heavy chairs. Packaging was perfect, they rolled the rug on a giant super heavy duty cardboard roll. Due to this and the material, there really weren;t any creases/folds/wrinkles to smooth out.. Lisa. Lansing, MI. Mon Mar 02 2020
