I was really curious how the hybrid down and polyester was going to work. I just hand fluffed these up, but you can put them in the dryer too. They were vacuumed packed. So as far as I can tell, the goose down is in the middle of the pillow, with the polyester on the outsides. They are really soft like alternative down pillows, but they are squishy like down pillows, which is what I like. I got the queen size. They have a nice trim on them and the cover is nice quality. This pillow has been a life saver. Every morning I would wake up with a stiff neck that radiated to my shoulders. I felt the constant need to crack my neck, and dealt with headaches almost daily. I always though my pillows were fine, but every morning I’d wake up not even laying on my pillow. I’d be sleeping below it using my arm for support. Since using this pillow, I’ve woken up for the first time in years without thinking “it’s going to be a bad neck day”. The tension in my neck is almost completely gone, and every morning I wake up I’m still comfortably on the pillow. I added all the extra stuffing into the pillow that it comes with for extra support.
