Stable and easy install countertop table. During assembly there were some noticeable blemishes. I was able to touchup the blemish on the bottom of the inside laminate finish with a furniture dark brown maker. There were blemishes on the faux marble top and on one side. It’s noticeable when the table top has bright light reflecting from it that shows the blemishes. I couldn’t fix those markings. The shipping box was a thinner cardboard than I expected for shipping. The table inside of the box was protected by styrofoam on all sides. The table top should have been protected in plastic wrap to prevent the thin sheet of styrofoam covering it from potential blemishes. Inspired by the original design the table is one of the most popular, and certainly one of the most beautiful pieces in our mid-century collection. The table features an artificial marble top made from genuine stone and a lacquered metal base. Construction: Modholic Tables are exclusively made of genuine stone tops. Additional care is taken to make the veining look natural. The solid stone slabs are 1.5" thick and heavy, balancing the unique table base. True to the original design the metal base is a perfect combination of function and form. The marble top is coated with a transparent polyester sealant to prevent chipping and scratching. A velvet floor protection pad is attached to the bottom of the base to prevent the floor from scratching.
