Marble Look Tub Surround

Luxury shower surrounds at an affordable price for the DIY enthusiast are available in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight and easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate, you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls, but compatibility with the other substrates might need testing. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6"–8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” thick continuous silicone bead around the panel, about ½” from the edge, to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

These are heavier and sturdier than I expected them to be. I have not installed them yet, but the video makes it look simple. It was nice having it all in a kit. I'm not sure the price was any savings. I'm pretty sure it came to a bit more than I feel doing it a la carte would be, but, this way they supply the right stuff up front, so I'm good with it. I got the smoky sky color, and it looks just like the online photos did.. Mike. Bend, OR. Sat Jul 18 2026

Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great. If you don't have that I would invest in a hacksaw and you'll be fine.. Doreen. Erie, PA. Mon Sep 09 2024

The only issue we have with this surround is the color. We thought it was black and it is not! The pictures they advertise show it as black. It’s grey with very light black veining and bright white veining. I wanted the bold look of black and this is not it. It’s still very pretty and will work for us, but it’s not the black I was looking for and that it showed in the pictures.. Brett. San Jose, CA. Fri Sep 12 2025

So far, everything looks good. I'm not quite ready to install it, but I unpacked it for inspection. I think it's going to look great in the guest bathroom, far better than a rod and shower curtain. I'm trusting that it's not going to be warped once I'm installing it. For me, I do think I would've preferred it to be gray tinted, but it's not a deal breaker. The packaging was decent. The only issue I saw, and it shows in the one photo, is that on one side of the glass the strips of Styrofoam used to brace and suspend the glass, we're out of place and a few were missing. The center of the glass was therefore not braced, open for damage. So far, I think I lucked out with no damage. I'll know more once it's completely out of the box so I can fully inspect the edges.. Important Installation Notice: This protruding niche requires a pre-framed wall cavity and cannot be installed directly over finished walls. The listed 60×32"tub surround dimensions do NOT include the niche’s required 3-1/8" depth behind the tub wall. Ensure your wall opening matches the niche’s exact dimensions (55-3/8" W × 11-3/4" H × 3-1/8" D) before installation. If your tub surround can’t accommodate the required space, opt for the alternate model without a built-in niche. Search for model WDBR2587 or WDBR2701 for more details. The alcove tub surround (SKU WDBR2576) is perfectly compatible

Looks awesome! The lip at the bottom of the panel that meets the tub leaves a space that soap can settle. We also weren’t anticipating the space in the wall that would need to be open for the alcove to fit. It was a tight fit.. Julie. Roanoke, VA. Fri Apr 24 2026
