The other reviews are true the panels chip very easy at the corners but it wasn’t a problem for us bc we wanted a black fireplace. It’s kind of silly we bought this to paint it BUT we loved the look just not the color we wanted plus it was on sale and other black fireplaces were over 1500 dollars so we saved 800 with a little labor.. I use it to warm my bedroom, which is 150 square feet. The description states that it’s designed to heat up to 400 square feet, however, I’m not sure that this is accurate unless you’re sitting close to the source. Arrived quicker than anticipated and comes in two boxes. One holds the pieces to the fireplace and mantle, the other the firebox. Assembly is definitely a two person job. We had several issues and this took the better part of an afternoon despite the problems. We received one panel that was missing two cam bolt inserts. Luckily we have a fantastic locally owned hardware store that was able to manufacture pieces that would work. Otherwise, this entire piece would have had to have been sent back. We were thankful the manufacturer included extra hardware as we had one cam lock break during installation. We do have one obvious gap in the marble tiles that we believe can be fixed with a little caulk. The fire place has several different color settings and somehow does look like a legitimate flame. The addition of the crystals gives the appearance of a high end gas fireplace. The heater works well, is akin to a blower on a fireplace and helps with the true fireplace feel. Arrived a day late but was well packed. Laid out in a way that the top pieces are the ones you need to assemble first. No digging for the next piece. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The firebox was less than we hoped for. The flames were not of high quality like we've had on a different electric fireplace we had, and it seems like it consists of a bulb inside a spinning drum to get the effect, which would be OK, but the spinning drum makes more noise than you'd expect and detracts from the whole effect. Summary: The mantel is awesome. The firebox, much less than awesome. Wish I could replace just the firebox with something better. The fireplace is nice but the ornamented part was glued to the foam wrapping which left the entire panel with sticky glue rests and foam parts sticking to it which you needed to scratch of - horrible.. Constantly upgrade your home or office with the addition of the Cravenhall Electric Fireplace. Part of the Real Flame Landscape Series, this widescreen electric firebox mimics the look of a real fire, but does not require a chimney or vents and conveniently plugs into a standard outlet. The firebox includes infrared LED technology, multiple flame colors, and dynamic glowing embers. Available in a white finish.

This is beautiful for the space in the bedroom. It is 59” across and the mantle is 64”. It was extremely easy to assemble. The screws for attaching the firebox are easy self drilling screws, so don’t have pre- drilled holes. As others said, it is top heavy and wants to fall forward. A bottom shelf inside horizontally might fix the instability. Company should work to improve this design flaw. I found a door wedge on both sides secures it in place. Will probably exchange to clear ones. I didn’t want it secured to the wall yet with the enclosed anti-topple devise so I can change the room around. Definitely needs securing in place though. For permanence, I would use inconspicuous L brackets. The bigger Real Flame Alcott 75” is stable having a bottom to it. Yes this is my second Real Flame purchase! Caulking the crevices gives it the carpenter complete built in look. Did not get it for the heat, just the flame aesthetic. I do use the timer feature.
