These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. I couldn't believe how good this looks on my bathroom countertops. It's very sturdy. It was not hard to work with and blends well when lining up the edges. I even overlapped a little and cut some odd shapes so it would look more natural. I even did the outside of my bath tub & caulked around. I do not recommend a polyurethane top coat because it dulled & gave slightly tan tint and really isnt necessary. Stable and easy install countertop table. During assembly there were some noticeable blemishes. I was able to touchup the blemish on the bottom of the inside laminate finish with a furniture dark brown maker. There were blemishes on the faux marble top and on one side. It’s noticeable when the table top has bright light reflecting from it that shows the blemishes. I couldn’t fix those markings. The shipping box was a thinner cardboard than I expected for shipping. The table inside of the box was protected by styrofoam on all sides. The table top should have been protected in plastic wrap to prevent the thin sheet of styrofoam covering it from potential blemishes. After contacting customer support the manufacture gave me a partial refund for the blemishes. I placed table mats on the table top to hide the most noticeable markings.. Ruben. South Amboy, NJ.
