This is a solid piece of furniture. It’s not some cheap “put it together yourself” desk. The actual desk part arrives as a solid piece, you only need to attach the legs. Definitely have a 2nd person with you when you assemble this item…the top is quite heavy. The assembly itself was quick easy. The desk has that clean Mid-Century Modern look that we love. One very nice feature that was not explained in the description is that the drawers and slanted leg can be reversed so you can orient the slanted leg on either side of that matters in your particular set up..
