We assembled this sideboard console last night, and overall we are really happy with it. The faux travertine finish gives it a modern but warm look that fits beautifully in our dining area. It looks much more expensive than I expected, and the curved edges and sleek handles give it a very clean, well-designed appearance. Once fully assembled, it feels sturdy and solid, especially with the metal support bar running across the inside for extra stability.
Assembly itself was fairly straightforward, and the instructions were easy enough to follow. One thing that actually worked out in our favor was receiving two of the smaller boxes, because one of them had damaged doors inside. Thankfully, the extra box saved the day.
My biggest complaint is definitely the hinges. They feel very cheap and extremely stiff, and the predrilled holes for mounting them were too large. When attaching the doors, the screws pulled right out of the wood almost immediately. I was able to fix the problem using toothpicks and a little wood glue, but that should not have been necessary on a brand-new piece of furniture.
Aside from that issue, this cabinet is attractive, functional, and very sturdy. We are genuinely pleased with it and glad we chose it for our home.. Catherine. Seminole, FL. Wed May 13 2026
