I was VERY pleased with the quality of this furniture. Other cabinets I have purchased only had a colored cardboard back. These had stained plywood backing. They supplied plenty of extra screws and nails. The instructions (only pictures, very little text) were easy to follow and helpful. All of the predrilled holes were properly aligned. Overall, this was excellent furniture at a reasonable price. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). There isn't much we don't love about this new bed, but since you've asked: The three middle bed supports/legs under the bed are all black which wouldn't bad if you couldn't see them. However, the one at the end of the bed is visible from almost any position around and away from the bed and detracts significantly from the beautiful look of the bed and its solid wood construction. And it stands to reason that a bed that cost @$3,000 should be not only functionally perfect, but optically in every way. We are also waiting to hear from Wayfair regarding reported damage to the bed, but are hopeful that we will have the damaged part(s) replaced, delivered and installed very soon.. Laurel.
