We purchased an unfinished Haelynn solid wood 2-door corner cabinet. The cabinet arrived sooner than expected and was well-packaged, so there was no damage. This pine cabinet has soft-close hinges. The right door has a strip that eliminates a gap when the doors are closed (close the right door first). The top is made of strips of wood pieced together but looks good. To finish, we sanded with 180 grit sandpaper, then applied wood conditioner, golden oak Minwax stain, four coats of Minwax warm satin polyurethane with a brush, then finished with one coat of wipe-on poly, sanding with 320 grit sandpaper between coats of poly. If this piece is a combination of solid wood and manufactured wood, I sure as heck can't tell the difference. It's a SOLID piece that honestly feels like all natural wood. That wasn't the best part. My husband and I recently moved into a new home and elected to not bring any of our furniture from our prior one. Suffice to say, I have been assembling LOTS and LOTS of furniture and accent pieces. Lots! This one was the easiest to assemble to date. Did it myself and I'm in my late 60's. Piece of cake. And the end result was lovely. The ONLY negative I can think to say is that I wish that there was an access hole in the back of the top white exposed shelf. I bought this for underneath a corner mounted TV and wanted the soundbar to go there. No biggie, I'll just get out my drill and make a hole for the power cord to pass thru. Sigh. It's true. Not super easy to put together. Some of the holes where the Dow rods go were not drilled out all the way. This caused us to take heavy top piece off drill out the hole and reattach. So the putting it together aspect is not easy and you possibly have to take it apart to make things fit. This corner cabinet looks very nice in the corner of my dining room. It is small, so dont expect to put large dishes in it. One of the bottom doors doesnt close all the way due to the way the hinges are set. All of the doors are very close to springing open because of the hinges.
