The Newport is simple at its best; tailored for any room, this mantel is created from medium-density fiberboard also known as MDF. MDF is a composite wood and is very commonly used for furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and decorative moldings. Mantel ships in 3 pieces; 2 legs and 1 header. The legs attach easily to the header with nuts and bolts. Mitered hanger board assembly is included for easy installation as well as a 3-piece mitered scribe molding set to hide any gaps after installation. This mantel has a 1 1/2" projection off of the wall leaving a nice pocket behind the mantel to accommodate your tile, stone, marble, etc. Projection: 1 1/2" Interior width: 48" Interior height: 40" Width outside leg to outside leg at base: 58" Shelf length: 65" Shelf depth: 7" Overall height: 51" Weight: 60 pounds. Look for the pearl inlay that graces the right-hand side of the shelf as proof that you have received an authentic pearl mantel. Paint grade only. I so much LOVE My new Farmhouse Dresser! I just got assembly completed and the process was straight forward and actually simple to assemble. Easy to understand with the instruction booklet. This Dresser is VERY ATTRACTIVE to look at. Once assembled the Dresser is very very solid and heavy. The 6 Drawers are just like it says in the description. They are very very spacious. Which is a huge plus for me! Definitely did not expect them to be as roomy as they are. I also love the THICK wooden top. The smooth wood grain on the top of the Farmhouse Dresser really added ALOT to the over all beauty and high quality of this Dresser. Also, I chose not to add on the two black metal pieces of hardware that came with the Dresser to keep the Dresser from being tipped over I'm assuming. I don't have any Kids in my home to worry about that happening. But I would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND anybody that does have small children please use this hardware on each side of the front of dresser to avoid an accident. I decided on and purchased this mantle for many reasons. 1) It being a Pearl Mantle let me know it would be made with quality. 2) It’s real wood and not some sort of plastic or pressed board. 3) it’s decorative and accentuates my decor perfectly and 4) the cost wasn’t cheap, but wasn’t unreasonably high! It arrived nicely packed, but I took one star away as it did not come with the 2 inch wood screws needed to do its install! It also did not come with instructions for installation. This meant searching online for instructions and having to go get the screws needed for the install. This beam is constructed out of ¾” thick Aspen wood and is 6 1/2" tall. You choose the length and depth. Each piece of wood is unique and will have more or less character/knots than the other. It is designed to look like a solid beam without weight. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. You will need to purchase 3" screws for the application you will be attaching the bracket. Corbels will increase the total height of the beam to 13". The corbels have been pre-drilled and include screws. You will need to attach the corbels to the beam upon receipt. Wood is considered a combustible material. Heat clearances must be adhered to. If installing over a fireplace, check your local building codes and the manufacturer's instructions for your specific fireplace insert or stove.
