Item delivered by Tavarus and Larry according to the card given to me by the driver. Delivery was hurried. Media center was brought in and set down. I was asked twice to sign for delivery without being given the chance to inspect item. I ignored the request both times. I found scratches, nicks, and a broken piece of wood next to the drawer. I did not sign for the delivery; the delivery team was in too much of a hurry to leave. They said I would receive a call from Wayfair within 15 minutes. The call came sooner than that. Achmed, the customer service representative, asked about the damage. He thought it was just a scratch on one of the doors. I described the damage and he arranged to have the unit picked up and a replacement sent. The media center is beautiful. The picture on the Wayfair website does not do it justice. This is a solid piece of furniture. It looks great. The wood looks natural. That's always my worry buying furniture online. The only warning is to read the directions closely. My husband build the door on the right upside down so it's crooked, but you'd have to take the whole thing apart to fix it so we're hoping we don't notice it after a while. I’m not a fan of MDF furniture and find most pieces are made of this material more and more. Finding this cabinet in solid wood at this price point was a winner! Ordered this in Oak along with the assembly that was completed last week. Solid wood cabinet that is beautiful and functional, and reasonably priced. Additionally, it has a manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years, which was a major consideration in selecting this piece! Love the look!
