These rectangular Bejmat tiles are thicker pavers, great for floors and patios, but still, light enough for well-constructed wall use. Professional installation is required.

I purchased the Moroccan handmade zellige tiles in the color ‘Oceanside’ from Wayfair for my bathroom floor, and I am thrilled with the result. The beautiful blue hue of the tiles, with plenty of variation, matches the name perfectly—it really does resemble deep blue water on the floor. The tiles arrived well-packaged, with only a few field pieces broken, which wasn’t a major issue. While there were some minor chips on the edges, using a similar color grout and cutting the edges made them blend in nicely, so they’re hardly noticeable. I love the size, shape and color of the tiles. They feel like they are well made. I was happy they arrived intact despite not being super carefully packed (they were not insulated in the package with foam or packing material, but the smaller box of tile was in a larger box that did have packing materials). The way they were packaged might not work out well for a larger order with multiple boxes. There was a residue on each tile (maybe because there was nothing between them in the package) but it scrapes off. I did not see the color variation that is shown in the stock photos. These are 6"x2" Bejmat tiles (150x50x13mm). Bejmat are a particular style of rectangular Glazed Zellige tiles, with slabs cut before firing. These thinner bejmat help reduce the weight for wall applications. Produced by hand in Fez, Morocco, these Moroccan mosaic floor tiles are known the world over. Still made with the local clays, and fired in kilns powered by olive pits, these rectangular floor tiles are authentic Zellige (zellij).

Good quality tile, individual tiles not on a grid, shipped quickly. I bought these for my bathroom remodel which is in progress with many items from Wayfair. Update!! Its waiting on grout but its down and it looks amazing yes the color is more true to terracotta than I expected it is beautiful!
