This wide blackout curtain accents your windows while providing the insulation and darkness you want in your living room or bedroom. Featuring two layers, its white gathered tulle fans out over the lightly-hued solid blackout layer for textural contrast. Hang the sheer tulle alone to let in natural light, or layer it over the blackout curtain for added style, insulation, and light control. Plus, both layers are machine washable for effortless upkeep.
** The darker colors are more effective in blocking out light and the lighter colors are less effective.

These curtains are so beautiful and a great medium weight. I bought enough to cover every window in my lake house. I tried the gray but returned them for the sky blue. The gray was a dark gray-black and darkened the rooms too much. The 80 inch width is impossible to find and provide a nice full look, whether open or closed. They are packaged with one panel and one sheer, which is an unusual combination and makes for a great buy. The only issue I encountered is that the length is inconsistent. The sheers are a perfect 84 inch, but the panels vary from 85-88 in length, so they drag on the floor. Eventually, I will hem them.. True Review. Tucson, AZ. Sun Sep 20 2026
