Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. Have been looking for a solution for more hanging room in my very small bedroom. I purchased 2 of these wardrobes to flank my full-size bed that sits sideways under a window. The house is very old where they used to have very small closets. I was looking for a "built-in" look and these were the perfect size! I am putting them together by myself (directions say it needs 2 people) but I was able to assemble the 1st one no problem. The wardrobe is very sturdy when assembled. I have the first one all put together and need to put the drawers and doors on the second one. I am very happy with the color! I may replace the gold knobs if I find some more whimsical ones, but this will help eliminate the 2 portable clothes racks that have graced my bedroom since I bought this old house! I wasn't expecting to like this product so much! The good: very clean lines, easy to assemble, and easy to adjust the doors. My house was a flip and they didn't really provide me with a coat closet; this took care of that in an awkward, unused corner of a hallway. I also replaced the hardware to match the cabinets in the rest of my house (it comes with some cheaper black plastic ones, pictured before and after I replaced them with brass handles). The bad: some pieces aren't pre-drilled so you're boring into the MDF with screws. In other cases, the pre-bored holes might be mis-aligned. For instance, on the right side door, the lock is pre-drilled too far away from the striker tab, so it doesn't lock; this isn't a big issue as I wasn't planning on using this for securing anything. We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! This armoire is a beautiful addition to my office, and I am very happy with how it looks now that it is fully assembled. The warm wood finish is rich and attractive, and the simple, modern design makes it look much more expensive than basic office storage furniture. It gives me a practical place to organize bags, shoes, and other items while keeping everything hidden behind the doors instead of creating visible clutter. The interior provides a useful amount of space, and I like having both the tall cabinet area and the two lower drawers. I am able to use the hanging section for bags and clothing items, while the bottom area works well for shoes and smaller accessories. Assembly, however, was challenging. Many of the pieces are large and heavy, which makes them difficult to hold, position, and attach without help. I assembled it mostly myself, but had help with the bigger peices. I would strongly recommend having a second person available. It makes the process much safer, faster, and far less frustrating. The instructions also made assembly more difficult than necessary. The drawings were very small and sometimes hard to see clearly, so it took extra time to determine exactly how certain pieces were supposed to be positioned. Enlarged illustrations or clearer close-up diagrams would have made a major difference. Fortunately, I was eventually able to complete it, and the finished armoire feels sturdy and functions well. It’s nice. I think it’s beautiful and has a lot of storage space. The hinges and doors are difficult to align (they are still misaligned for now - too frustrating. Will reapproach later). This worked out better than we expected for the room because it filled the space perfectly and the dark brown color matched existing doors and blended well with the other furniture. It takes time to assemble (allow several hours) and I am lucky because my roommate is a general contractor so it went well.
