It's made from solid and engineered wood in a classic brown finish that shows off the wood's grain color variation for a rustic touch we love. The rectangular dining table comes with a leaf, so this table can sit 8 people when fully extended and six when it's fully collapsed. This set also includes 6 dining chairs with curved, slatted back and faux leather-upholstered seats with a contrasting black hue.

I love this dining set. It is beautiful. Sitting at it with guests feels comfortable, warm, and cozy. The chairs are well padded. There was a problem with the upholstery on one of the chairs and customer service took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. This is Leighton Hall’s most popular table. It is made-to-order in the Leighton Hall shop. It has the perfect combination of size, proportion, and eye appeal. The LH-7 is a Sheraton-style dining table with "D" shaped ends. It features a swirly-crotch mahogany field, black/white and exotic wood inlays, and satinwood and pau ferro borders with a three-beaded edge. Inspect table and chairs carefully asap. Mine came with multiple cracks in various pieces. Box came all taped up. Dining set is pretty. Not what I thought I was ordering. Seems cheaply made. Seats are compact so you can sit closer to the table while eating. Feels like plastic finishing even when it says wood. Quality and color of seats are more yellowish than cream and seems to be able to show dirt or stain if you spill something. Top is cut up into small wood and not a solid surface. It has a medium brown mahogany color with a hand steel wool rubbed satin sheen. This finish allows it to blend in well with existing antiques. It has a solid mahogany three beaded edge. The two pedestals have three fluted legs which terminate with antique brass lion’s paw feet. It has two 20” leaves. It seats six guests when the leaves are not installed and 8-10 guests when both leaves are installed. Beautiful console but those hinges are hard to align. Setup was fairly easy until it got to the cabinet and hinge. I am still unable align them. So keep that in mind before assembling it yourself.
