The style of the legs and wooden frame are so French looking! I have been looking for quite some time to get chairs for my library area and these are perfect. The chairs are quite firm and the seat allows you to sit up ( something that I prefer as compared to seats so deep you’re really lying down). We are very happy so far with the chairs themselves. One issue was the extensive time to receive as they were on backorder although inventory showed 10 in stock when we ordered. This is a beautiful chair! I'm using it as a banquet for my bistro table. It was quite a hassle getting shipped as it comes in one piece so needed to go via FedEx ground/large furniture shipping and the first time it was damaged so they re-sent (which took awhile) and it showed up with a crack in the arm. It's not super noticeable as the wood part looks distressed overall but I opted to keep it with a discount given the time it took between ordering and arriving. Wanted to point out that the other review's picture showed it looking silverish but mine is goldish. Either would have worked for me but always hard to tell from on-line pictures.
