The rug feels more plush than the thin pile would suggest in photos. We have grey herringbone flooring and gray sofa so the colors of the rug bring out greens grey with hints of blue and gold. Beautiful area rug, I was looking for something that really popped since my room is a little on the darker side. I also live in an old farmhouse, so was looking for something with a farmhouse look. Just a note though, I got the 9x13 size, and it did not arrive rolled as stated, it was bagged, and although most of the wrinkles have fallen out, there are still a few that I have been unsuccessful in flattening, will try some carpet tape next. I'm really happy with this rug, the colours are exactly what I was looking for to work with my flooring and the furniture. In the photos, the lighter bars on either end of the rug are a teensy less noticable than I was expecting they'd be. Not really a complaint, just something I noticed. Beautiful area rug, I was looking for something that really popped since my room is a little on the darker side. I also live in an old farmhouse, so was looking for something with a farmhouse look. Just a note though, I got the 9x13 size, and it did not arrive rolled as stated, it was bagged, and although most of the wrinkles have fallen out, there are still a few that I have been unsuccessful in flattening, will try some carpet tape next.
