The colors are stunning the desk is heavy and the materials dont look cheap or fake. I was apprehensive about the fake marble but it looks great. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. Throw out your old fold up plastic party tables! I can see why these tables would be ideal for an office but they are also awesome space saving heavy duty tables for a party! I have mine in my garage currently for a drink station but also used as an extra table for the holidays! This is a super cute desk, even nicer than I expected. The wood grain finish makes the black look so special and unique. It seems really sturdy, except for the sliding doors, they might not hold up to heavy use. It’s ok, though because I will still be able to use the shelves. It wasn’t the easiest to assemble, I wish I could take away a half star for the unclear instructions.
