okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in. Before, i had a reclining leather couch that my husky/GSD mix and two pugs sat with me on and my huge GSD had his own matching leather recliner, but I felt bad that he had to be separate. This modular sectional is absolutely stunning! I was incredibly impressed when it arrived, and it looks even better in person than it does in the photos. I initially paid extra for professional assembly, but once I unpacked everything, I realized it was much simpler than expected. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how everything connected, and after that, assembly was a breeze. In fact, I canceled my assembly appointment because it simply wasn’t worth spending the extra $100. I was able to put the entire sectional together by myself, and I’m a small woman, so I think most people will find the setup very manageable. My only minor complaint is that some of the pillows arrived with a few smudges or marks on them, likely from handling during packaging. It seemed as though whoever packed the item may not have been wearing gloves. Fortunately, the marks were minor and didn’t affect my overall satisfaction with the product. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. The sectional is beautiful, easy to assemble, and exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Hokku Designs Cloud Couch for our new home and I am obsessed!! We’ve been using it for ~3 weeks now and we love it! The couch is low seating, but we knew that going in and we don’t mind it at all. It’s very comfortable.. perfect for naps. We love being able to comfortably fit multiple people, and being able to move the ottoman is great when you need extra seating or more leg room. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! Overall I really like this couch. It’s super cute, spacious, and looks great in my living room. The fabric is soft and I love having the ottoman. My main complaint is that the cushions are thinner than I expected, so it’s not as plush as it looks in the pictures. Assembly was also a little frustrating because some of the pieces were really difficult to fit together, and a couple of them still don’t fit together completely. It came two days earlier than the estimated. It all came in three boxes. I love that it’s easy and no assembly required. Is recommended to let it air out for 48 to 72 hours. It only has been 24 hours. The covers are very soft like chenille. We sat on it and is a bit firm and I hope it will give a bit with use. I hope this couch will last us for a while. This sectional is pretty great for the price in comparison with department store couches it ranks along with much more expensive sectionals. I would say the firmness is a medium firm. Not a super soft feel or not a cloud couch feel either. The chenille fabric is very good quality and the black is a true deep black not a charcoal like other brands models. I like the size and different configurations available. I also like that all the cushions have velcro to attach them in place. The rounded edges of the cushions give it a perfect relaxed feel. Best sofa ever! It is so comfortable and so easy to put together…just unwrap and let it do its thing. We had to use one piece in another room as it was too wide for my son’s apartment living room space but it worked out perfectly as he now has seating in his bedroom.
