I have been in the process of converting my son's old room into a guestroom/den/dressing room. I had already lined one wall with bookshelves and ordered a beige faux leather sofa bed from Wayfair. I had made a plaid silk comforter in shades of tan and pale teal green to throw on the sofa bed. An exotic hardwood coffee table was on its way from Wayfair. All that was needed was an appropriate area rug to tie this corner of the room together. Voila! This rug is perfect. The colors work well enough with the comforter to look cohesive, and yet are dynamic enough to lend excitement to this corner of the room (the other end has a simple sisal rug).
