This is a nice soft comforter, about medium in thickness. I'd say it is suitable for use most of the year, with exception of the hottest summer days where it might be considered a bit too warm by some. The quality of materials is very good, and the pattern and ruffles make it quite attractive. The surface is nice and soft to the touch, there's no plastic-like cheap feel to it.
