I was looking for something for our guest room in our Florida home that would help make our guests feel they were on vacation and this fit the bill. We've thrilled with our purchase. The only negative is that the remote changes the light warmth but not necessarily the brightness - there is no dimming option on remote. I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. The fan looks great and has enough settings that it’s easy to find one that is right for the temperature of the room. It’s really fun to watch it spin- almost like an art piece. My only complaint is that the light is pretty dim. It’s nice to be able to change the settings from soft to very bright white but I’ll have to get more desk lamps to make up for the poor lighting..
