Surprisingly, the bed almost looks like a full-size bed because of how spacious the room is. If you have a large bedroom and have been debating whether to upgrade to a king-size bed, consider this your sign to do it! Assembly was the only challenging part. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. This bed was very easy to build. I built it by myself with maybe an hour a little bit more than an hour. The instructions will clear on how to use all the materials that they packed into the back of the headboard. After searching through hundreds of bed frame options and not finding anything else we liked, we decided to go with this for our new king sized bed. It was incredibly easy to put together and the instructions were better than I expected. The only issue was that the instructions referenced pieces being A, B, C, etc. but the pieces didn't have those labels, just the numbered stickers where pieces joined up. It was possible to work around that issue though! The box was heavy and the two of us could have fought it up the stairs, but we just opened the box downstairs and carried the pieces up, which was definitely the way to go. The bed frame is sturdy and doesn't make any noise. The velcro aspect of where the wooden slats sit on the metal is a great addition! We put a 14 inch mattress on it and the headboard is about the same height of the pillows (see image). We opted not to peel off the tape to use the adhesive on the mattress, it has been staying in place well without it, plus it would have made unrolling the new mattress tricky.
