This fan is functional. It works fine the light is good. Would I recommend it? Yes and no, I had to install a base station for the fan to actually stay up correctly without falling. I really like this ceiling fan. The design is great if you want a propeller look, which I did. It’s slightly industrial, as the screws are not covered. There are six of them in a nice circle under the fan. I didn’t want a light in mine, but just a simple fan, and that is what I got. It sits close to the ceiling, which I like, even though I have high ceilings, and it has six speeds both forward and reverse, as well as as an additional feature for “natural wind“. It is very quiet! And this was important to me. I think it will save me lots of air-conditioning money in the warmer months and perhaps push some heat downward in the winter months, though time will tell. A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on.
