Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. My fountain was easily assembled however the problem I discovered was that in order to use the light, I needed two outlets and I already was using one for my patio lights. So I plugged the light to the fountain into the automatic timer and it comes on now when my outside lights do. It works perfectly and l’m pleased. The sound was very important to me because I’ve had fountains before that made a hollow sound and not very relaxing, this one is soothing as it cascades over the rippled edges and doesn’t splash outside the fountain.. Love it! I couldn’t wait to set it up, so I have to work on leveling it … next year Now, I sit and wait to see if the birds like it. I had a 3-tier fountain prior to getting this and it was too deep for them to use. One comment, though, is that I adjusted the pump valve all the way to the left and then all the way to the right, and I honestly didn’t notice a change in the height of the water coming out, but it sounds great, regardless!. Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling.
