The screw holes are positioned differently from what the manual shows, so we had to ignore some of the instructions and assemble it by trial and error. I recently bought this media cabinet and am really happy with it. The walnut finish gives my living room a warm, mid-century vibe that looks more expensive than it is. The item is very heavy. It is compressed laminated wood. It took about an hour to put it together. The most challenging part was adjusting the hinges on the doors. There was no directions on how to do this. Thank goodness for YouTube! Originally the doors wouldn’t shut and we’re not even but after adjustment, they all work great.
