I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. Assembly took about an hour with two people, and while it could definitely be done solo, having an extra set of hands made the process much smoother and faster. Everything arrived well-packaged and carefully protected with Styrofoam, so there was no damage at all. Overall I would say this bed frame is a good purchase; High quality solid wood construction, sturdy hardware , and the honey finish is beautiful. That said it’s worth noting that the size of the bed frame in the listing is not accurate. We bought this frame specifically to fit a twin bed sized small niche that is set into the wall of my son’s bedroom. According to the listing this bed should have fit perfectly. It is actually almost an inch wider than the specifications say measuring just over 77 inches wide . This detail might not be a challenge for most buyers but I feel like it should be changed in the listing for accuracy. Also , it’s worth noting that the finish is not incredibly durable and does scratch easily. In the building process the drawers got a few scratches just from being face down on our hardwood flooring . Not a deal breaker but be careful when building to protect the finish.. Laura. It's a beautiful bed but I had to return it since it's a King sized bedframe and I have a Queen. Forgot to double check the size during my hectic move. I should've realized it when the bedframe was huge. The assembly was not super easy for one person, but doable (I'm a 5'3" woman). My floors aren't properly leveled so I had trouble aligning a few of the holes on the headboard. I had to really push and re-adjust, but I got it all done in about 2 hours. The wood legs are a bit weak and do hear creaking. I decided to opt out of screwing every single slat to the bedframe since that would take way too long and I was tired! It did not feel super secure but I also put a queen mattress on it so.. Anyways, its good for the price and you get what you pay for - I really liked the look and probably would've kept it if iit wass the right size! I love this bed. Assembly was straightforward and only took about 3 hours solo. My mattress hides a lot of the headboard, but I suppose thats on me c or not paying attention to measurements. I took away one star because it was missing some of the screws. I contacted customer support, and their solution was to send an entirely new bed...which would have been way too much work.
