Perfect mat for my kitchen. It’s thin but that’s what I wanted. The solid rubber backing keeps the mat firmly in place and anything that drips on it is easily cleaned up, which is great for where I placed it, in front of the sink. A lovely design just right for our comfortable, busy kitchen! the 2' x 6' size covers the floor in front of our sink and dishwasher, catching small drips of water and remaining comfortable under foot. Its very low profile helps avoid stumbles and its rubbery backing keeps it from slipping (although it can gradually move slightly out of place). Overall I am very happy with this rug. But be warned that the color is very different than pictured. In daylight, it is more of a graygreen and darker than photos. Nice mat. It lays flat. Dirt can fall in between the dots, which prevents it from being tracked inside. The shortcoming is that the dots aren't that effective in scrubbing dirt off shoes.
