The frame is mailed in a surprisingly compact package. The design is clean, it's straightforward to assemble, and construction seemed thoughtful (e.g., the slats are both screwed and velcroed in place to the underlying frame for additional stability).. Audrey. New York, NY. Wed Jun 03 2026

Put a ring on it. This is the one you've been waiting for. I've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a year or so now. I'd hemmed and hawed for quite some time over which bed frame to throw in this room, nothing quite hit just right. Then, this one popped up. It's simple, timeless, and minimally perfect. It goes great in a room with sloped or low ceilings. It makes a statement, but quietly and modestly. It checks all the boxes and does away with all the unnecessary bells and whistles some beds seem to have. It's lovely with honey oak floors, but truly would fit a variety of different styles. It’s versatile and has a transitional quality to it, making it easy to adapt to any aesthetic. That's a huge deal for anyone who wants to change things up every once in a while. Since it's neutral, it brings unity and cohesion to just about any style. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. It took my husband about a half hour or so to assemble - and most of that was spent unboxing. Before putting it together, I added adhesive felt pads to the bottom legs for easy sliding and protection of wood floors. It's solid and well-engineered. It doesn't make a peep when getting on and off. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review if I didn't think so highly of this product. Despite the price (currently $164), this bed has quality written all over it. Sometimes, you get what you pay for, and sometimes you get a whole lot more. Ive found my queen ... bedframe, that is.. Honestly love it, perfect. Easy to put together, it does slide on hard floor, so recommend a rug, or anti slid pads.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 19 2026

Create a relaxed, casual retreat in your bedroom with the Mendon bed frame. Crafted from solid rubberwood, the Mendon features a classic walnut brown finish that complements any color palette. Its low platform and angled, tapered legs are reminiscent of cool, mid-century modern design. Add some crisp white sheets and a plush duvet to complete the look. This bed includes wood slats, which eliminate the need for a box spring.

Shown are the dimensions for the full size bed frame. Without the legs, the width is 56 ⅝ inches, with the legs the width is 58 inches. Under the bed is a hair over 10 inches. Not pictured, but the length was 76 to 76 ½ inches. The quality is a solid 45. For the price I paid, under 300, I felt like I got what I paid for. There are some tiny imperfections on the frame, and some moderate imperfections on the plywood slats and support legs. But I dont feel like its going to snap on me or anything. Its a sturdy bed frame, very attractive. The height is perfect for me, gives me a bit of storage room underneath without making the bed too high. The frame wood is a good walnut color, fairly evenly stained with natural appeal. The rounded edges are great, no stabbing my shins. The legs are on the outside, but the gap at the headboard means it doesnt run up against my baseboards. Overall I would recommend the bed! Assembly was fairly easy. I managed it on my own, but it would be easier with two. The only issue with the bed is the freaking wood screws. It comes with an allen key, which every other part of the assembly uses, but every other slat is supposed to be secured with wood screws (the other half are with allen wrench bolts). This feels like seriously cheaping out. The wood screws are probably fine with any sort of drill, but I only own manual screwdrivers and couldnt manage to drive them into the frame. The screws are meant to screw into the hardwood frame which is very difficult by hand. I ended up giving up and just putting tiny felt squares under that half of the slats, to prevent noise. When I get a drill Ill add them in.. Liam. Michigan. Wed Sep 30 2026

This bed frame is built from all natural bamboo and steel. Dense, renewable bamboo delivers solid strength and good warp resistance, featuring warm natural grain and a sleek flat panel headboard well suited for Japandi, minimalist and Nordic style bedrooms. It adopts precision mortise and tenon joints instead of heavy screw based structures. Minimizing drilling protects bamboo to prevent cracking and deformation. The easy snap together design supports quick one person assembly. It also has 7.9 inch under bed clearance for convenient cleaning.

It’s a very nice solid wood bed frame. It took me 90 minutes to set up by myself. I thought because the bed used Japanese joinery to assemble it would be much easier and i wouldn’t be fiddling around with screws as much. I can’t speak for all Japanese joinery beds but this one was basically like assembling a regular bed frame. It does seem to be more sturdy than a regular bed frame though, it is not wobbly or loose at all. We will see how it holds up over time!. Robin. Westport, CT. Tue Sep 22 2026

Overall what I was looking for. It was missing some of the screws but I expected that after reading the reviews. I also let it air out as it smelled very much like unfinished wood. Although I didn’t need to sand it, there were some splintery areas (easy fix though). I used my own screwdriver as the one they provided was child-sized (still worked just not for my hands). I did not screw them together since my room is carpeted so they won’t shift. It does not come in one piece like the picture shows, I got a queen size and two foldable platforms.. Ashton. New Mexico.
